Michael C. Thompson

Name: Michael C. Thompson

Michael C. Thompson is 25 years old and was born in Cincinnati, OH. He has been previously published in the November 2010 "Gothic" issue of "Collective Fallout" magazine, which featured "Bulletproof Faces." Michael writes primarily speculative fiction.

I like to write speculative fiction which experiments with different influences in my life - I have written high space-drama, down-to-earth epic mysteries, as well as modern-day science fiction involving Greco-Roman gods. I am currently working on many projects, including a gay-themed horror novel entitled "Et en Arcadia Ego" - a Jungian nightmare centering around a post-modern Narcissus.

Tom Andrews

Name: Tom Andrews
www.martinipen.blogspot.com

Tom Andrews (not his real name, for the love of God) lives in the urban wilds of Illinois with his wife, Shelly, and their two Australian Shepherds.  A native of Wisconsin, he has been writing since his tender youth and currently writes for a non-fiction market to put bread on the table and gin in the icebox.

Mr. Andrews lets down his proverbial hair on a daily basis to write flash fiction, however, and absolutely loves it.  Almost all of his stories stem from waking dreams of a sort, so any similarities to persons living or dead is purely intentional. Please visit the author at www.martinipen.blogspot.com, or find him among the other fine authors at redfez.net and hackwriters.com

Nadine Ducca Deharbe

Name: Nadine Ducca Deharbe

Contact e-mail address: nadinucca@hotmail.com

Education: Degree in Translation and Interpreting, Postgraduate Degree in Legal Translation, Master’s Degree in Medical Translation.

Likes: The usual. Spending time with family and friends, enjoying a good barbeque, shopping, traveling, reading and writing and of course my spoiled little brat of a cat.

Dislikes: Heartless individuals who find pleasure in torturing other living creatures –yes... I’m talking about YOU, matador. Oh, and pizza with tuna on it.

I’m a translator and interpreter specializing in legal and medical translation. Originally from Los Angeles, California, I moved to sunny Barcelona, Spain at a very young age. I currently work as an Exams Supervisor for Cambridge ESOL, which involves quite a lot of paperwork. As well as managing the Cambridge ESOL exams, I work part-time as an English teacher for the Open University of Catalonia (UOC).

Although writing has been my passion for as long as I can remember, I have had to put it off to take care of more pressing issues (mainly work and university). This year I’ve put my foot down and decided enough is enough; from now on I will force myself to write a little every day. It feels great! I have written pieces from a wide range of genres, though I feel most comfortable with science fiction and fantasy.

Since I made the decision to publish about a month ago, my work has appeared in The Fringe and Weirdyear and I am preparing more horror and science fiction pieces for publication. I am now working on the second draft of my first novel, a science fiction adventure entitled Making Time.
