Name: Susan Franceschina
Education: B.S. in Psychology from Shepherd University
Likes: Writing (mostly science fiction and fantasy), abusing my Kindle, spending time with family and friends, casually applying episodes of X-Files and Star Trek: Voyager to real life, and delicious red wine.
Dislikes: Awkward social situations and close talkers.
After taking a long, reflective "oh my gosh, what am I going to do with my life?" walk in the woods of West Virginia one day, I decided to write a book. So . . . I did. It's on my computer, somewhere. After a few rejections from literary agents that gently indicated I was a "nobody," I started writing short stories in an effort to become a "somebody." In addition to writing, I work for an online tutoring service and I am married with three wonderful kids. I live in the suburbs of Western Maryland and sometimes inside my head. My writing has appeared in Wanderings, Weirdyear, and is forthcoming in Yesteryear. My short story, "The Great 1000" was also recently published by Books to Go Now.
